Members Spotlight
TPG would like to CONGRATULATEKristen McClarty for having two of her latest prints, Layered Annotations and Marginalised Narratives, selected for the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair! Bravo!
Three members of The Printing Girls (Laurel Holmes, Kristen McClarty and Clare Menck) will be exhibiting with two other exciting Cape based artists (Madeleine van Manen and Jo Roets) in a multi-media exhibition at the prestigious Association for Visual Arts Gallery in Cape Town, next month.
The exhibition explores their response to a world that is wobbling on its axis. Included in the exhibition will be a combination of traditional and experimental printmaking work (monotype, woodblock, screen print, chine collé and collage) as well as painting and clay work. The exhibition will coincide with the Tenth Anniversary celebrations of First Thursdays in Cape Town, which will be centred around the AVA Gallery in the City Centre.
